Markers and Bevels

Although "Markers" and "Bevels" are commonly called footstones, they can be used at either end of the grave. A marker is flat and usually 4 or 6 inches thick. A bevel has a slight slope on the top and are commonly 6 or 8 inches thick. The sloping top has a couple of useful functions. Since the engraved characters are on an angle, they are easier to read without standing directly over the grave. The slope also allows rain to keep dirt and debris cleaned out of the characters,  Keep in mind that you can choose any color with any design. If you don't see the design you are looking for, just let us know. The options are unlimited.
